Much Marcle Navigation Scatter Rally

This Navigational Scatter has the start and finish venue at Westons Cider Mill, Much Marcle.

It is effectively a treasure hunt using the Ordnance Survey Map 149, where you have to find fifteen of twenty clue-points by plotting on the map from varied yet straightforward rally navigation (in this case mostly grid references).

With a Motorsport UK Permit Exemption, all entrants need only a RS Clubmans Licence which is free from Motorsport UK.org. 15 clue-points to visit on a drive of under 60 miles with four hours to plot and return to the start venue. In some instances it will be necessary to alight from the car to find the answer or a codeboard, The start time will be from 10.00am with novices in vintage cars having an extra penalty-free fifteen minutes. Beginners can copy Clue-points from the organiser’s map by incurring a small penalty.

This event will be a round of the Inter-Register Club Championship, and in addition to members of MG Car Club, from invited clubs IRC, VSCC and HRCR

Proposed Classes as follows:

Class A Expert pre 1960 car

Class B Novice pre 1960 car

Class C Expert post 1960 car

Class D Novice post 1960 car

The Entry fee is £20 for this Navigation Scatter.
